Women, homebuilders are listening
If you’re a woman, homebuilders want to know what’s on your mind.
It’s not that builders are especially sensitive. They’re not all that interested in your thoughts on relationships, social issues or the latest movies. But they are keenly interested in your thoughts on housing.
Why is this? Maybe it has something to do with the fact that women by far control most home-buying or remodeling decisions. A recent study conducted by Harvard, in fact, says that women control an amazing 91 percent of these decisions.
It’s little surprise, then, that the National Association of Home Builders is reaching out to women with its new book, Trillion Dollar Women: Use your Power to Make Buying and Remodeling Decisions.
The book’s author, Tara Nicholle-Nelson, in a press release says that her goal was to help women get through the process of buying a home with as little stress as possible. For those interested, books can be ordered here.
