Top Ten Countres To Live in the World

by Maricel Ferrer-Custodio on December 8th, 2006

On a report released last November 2006, the United Nations ranked the quality of life for the 177 countries in the world.

Here’s the list of countries who made it to the Top Ten.

Best Countries to Live in the World 2006

  1. Norway
  2. Iceland
  3. Australia
  4. Ireland
  5. Sweden
  6. Canada
  7. Japan
  8. United States
  9. Switzerland
  10. Netherlands

The report rates the per-capita income, standard of living, educational levels, health care and life expectancy as a measure of a nation’s well-being.

If you are a resident of any of the above countries, do you agree or disagree in the report of the United Nations?

I cannot speak for the other countries but as far
as the U.S.A stands at present, G.W. Bush has
    ruined this country.

The whole world hates Americans because of the
actions of one meglamaniac! He seems to operate
for the sole purpose of obtaining oil, power, and
money. Espescially when it comes to his personal
    family and his rich friends.

Please people of other nations, do not believe
that all americans are that way. We are not all
rich or greedy, and many of us have tried to
stop this insanity(iraq war). Most of us are
afraid to speak out for fear of reprisals. I am a
Christian man who would like all men to be
Christians but not FORCED to be, rather brought
to Jesus through love. I respect Islamic and
Muslim people’s right to believe and worship
in thier own way. Most americans feel this way.

I am at this site because I am considering
leaving the U.S.A and taking my family to a
better country to live. The U.S.A. has seen it’s best and is on it’s way down. Loss of freedom’s
are an excuse for our government to “protect”
us, that’s BULLSH-T! Democracy is losing out
fast to a dictorial state of government.

    Peace to all, God Bless

I agree in part with Mr. Dixon, not all Americans are like the way we are portrayed around the world. I, too, am a Christian and not at all happy the way G.W. Bush (who says he’s Christian also) has directed our country the past 7 years. But I’m not leaving, yet. We may be forced if Hilary wins the 2008 election…..naw! just kidding!

I agree with both guys about America, but I am an athiest. I want to excape all this religious insanity. I just want to experiance another place and different people. I am single and think I’d do much better in other countries. I just don’t know where to go. I’m not rich and I like warm weather. I just starting doing research. I’m 48 and I’m bored with USA.
